The Office for Dual Education and the National Qualifications Framework, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, has completed the digitalisation of the procedure for obtaining the status of a Publicly Recognised Organiser for Adult Education Activity (PROAEA).
The new electronic service, available through the eGovernment Portal, enables primary and secondary schools to submit applications for obtaining PROAEA status entirely online.
The introduction of this service has simplified the application and processing procedure, reduced the administrative burden on educational institutions, and enabled more efficient communication with the competent authorities.
The digitalisation of the procedure is part of broader efforts aimed at modernising the adult education system and improving public services in this field. It facilitates schools’ participation in the adult education system while creating greater opportunities for citizens, businesses, and local communities to access high-quality lifelong learning opportunities.
The activity was implemented within the project “Support to the Reform of the Dual Vocational Education System and the National Qualifications Framework in the Context of Lifelong Learning in Serbia”, funded by the Swiss Government through the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
The service is available on the eGovernment Portal, while detailed instructions for submitting applications can be found on the Ministry of Education’s website:
