Project Name: "Increased Offer and Diversification of Accredited Trainings in the Field of Non-formal Education and Providers of Adult Education Trainings"

Project Goal: The project "Increased Offer and Diversification of Accredited Trainings in the Field of Non-formal Education and Providers of Adult Education Trainings" implemented by the Ministry of Education with the support of the European Union, aims to support the ongoing education reform in achieving broad, long-term changes in the political, social, economic, and environmental global context. These changes will result from interventions responding to the mismatch between the supply of labor and the needs of the labor market.

Project Purpose: Improving the quality, relevance, and accessibility of non-formal adult education in Serbia. The expected project results are:

  • Improvement of the national quality assurance system in non-formal adult education from the perspective of lifelong learning (including non-formal education and informal learning);
  • Providing support to adult education organizers in order to implement adult education activities in accordance with prescribed quality standards;
  • Improvement of institutional and human resources for implementing non-formal adult education activities;
  • Enhancement of social partnerships, promotion of non-formal adult education, and increased visibility of lifelong learning opportunities, i.e., various pathways to acquire qualifications;
  • Pilot programs of non-formal adult education, recognition of prior learning programs, and prepared recommendations for fine-tuning the established system.
