Project title: ERASMUS-EDU-2024-POL-NTWK-IBA

Duration of the project implementation: 2024 - 2026.

Donor: European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) / ERASMUS+

Project objectives: In line with the strategic framework defined in the Strategy for the Development of Education in the Republic of Serbia by 2030 (SED 2030) and the Republic of Serbia's commitment to European Union accession, the main goal of this project is to enhance the National Qualifications Framework of Serbia (NQFS) through the development and implementation of a monitoring system to assess the impact of the NQFS as a public policy. Additionally, the project aims to create a monitoring system to track the effects of modernized qualifications on individuals in terms of employment and lifelong learning.

The establishment of this monitoring system for the NQFS policy will contribute to improving its relevance, quality, efficiency, effectiveness, and overall impact, while also better aligning the NQFS system with sector-specific policies. Within the framework of this project, various activities will be carried out, including the enhancement the methodological framework with indicators and tools for monitoring the effects of NQFS. It also involves piloting the improved methodological framework with indicators and tools for monitoring NQFS effects, exploring opportunities for digitizing the process of monitoring these effects, presenting the results of the pilot study for the methodological framework, and creating and publishing promotional materials.

Implementation of this project will also support the use and enhance the understanding of the NQFS system among relevant social partners, such as ministries, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the National Employment Service and other employment agencies, quality assurance bodies, educational institutions (schools and universities), and other public and private entities interested in advancing the qualifications system and education system as a whole.
